Personalized PDF Accessibility Training Plan

Learning Outcome

By the end of this training session, learners will be able to make accessible PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Professional. They will have an appreciation of how the accessibility of PDFs benefits users with disabilities and will be equipped to expand on their base of knowledge by learning to access additional help and resources independently.

Participants will learn about:

  • Evaluating the accessibility of newly imported PDFs into Adobe Acrobat
  • Using the Accessibility Action wizard in Acrobat Professional
  • Creating properly tagged and marked-up PDFs using various built-in tools
  • Addressing more advanced tools and considerations such as PAC checkers to assess and convert to other accessible formats.

Anyone who is responsible for creating, modifying or distributing PDF files within their organization.

What You Get?

A Certificate of Completion is awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course. Participants also receive training guides and reference material.

This Certification is not a credential and is not intended to certify participants’ experience in authoring or remediating accessible PDFs across formats.
