We Care
The World Health Organization estimates that nineteen million children below the age of fifteen are visually impaired. Twelve million of these children are visually impaired due to refractive errors. This condition is easily diagnosed and corrected with eye surgery performed before age 12 to prevent permanent blindness.
Accessibility Partners Canada is proud to collaborate with L V Prasad Eye Institute, India, to fund programs aimed at making high-quality, appropriate eye care accessible to all. Watch this section of our website for further developments on this exciting initiative.
